Research On Application Of Dry-Rubber-Asphalt-Mixture SMA

Using rubber in asphalt mixture, is benefit to protection of environmental, recycling of rubber, and the service life of Asphalt pavement. The dry rubber asphalt mixture with strengthening agent is a new study direction. Rubber asphalt strengthening agent can effectively improve the performance of the dry rubber asphalt mixture. This paper study on new-dry-rubber-asphalt-mixture SMA, and verified the domestic strengthening agent.This paper carries out the evaluation index research of new-dry-rubber-asphalt mixture SMA; identifies kinds of evaluation scope; compares the performance of asphalt mixture with imported strengthening agent and domestic ones.To verify the performance of domestic and imported strengthening agent, this paper comprehensive studies new-dry-rubber-asphalt-mixture SMA on mixing ratio design, high temperature performance, low temperature resistance, water damage resistance, fatigue performance and shear performance and etc.On the basis of the laboratory experiment, this paper studies on construction technique and quality control methods, and test road were constructed with both imported and domestic strengthening agent, collects first-hand information on site. We will track the performance of the tested road in the next two years also.Base on the laboratory experiment and road test, it shows that new-dry-rubber-asphalt-mixture SMA with domestic strengthening agent is good as imported one. It is concluded that new-dry-rubber-asphalt-mixture SMA with domestic strengthening agent has a good prospect.
