With the development of the economy and increcement of the motor vehicle,it becomes more and more serious of the traffic jam caused by weak dispath and control of the intersections in most cities.Effectively relieving traffic congestion and improving the road capacity have become a priority among priorities in traffic management.Traffic signal controller plays an important role in urban traffic control system, in order to make the signal configuration more flexible and convenient,at the same time, with the purpose of overcoming the shortcomings of signal machine can not communicate with the control center,we design and implement a scheme configuration of central coordinate controller based on VC++,it could be used inisolated control and area control at intersection with different types.This system uses Visual Studio 2013 as programming tool, and its position machine software is designed with MFC frame. According to the design of the signal machine’s function,the system consisted of three functional modules: intersection management, configuration of signal machine’s basic information and the scheme of implementation, communication with the signal machine at the intersection.The configuration of signal machine’s basic information includes the setting of basic information about intersection, setting of terminal map, setting of detector, and setting of green-conflict scheme settings; The scheme of implementation includes the the configuration of control scheme,configuration of the period scheme, configuration of time scheme and the special day scheme;The communication module uses serial communication protocol,the system of scheme configuration communicates with and the signal machine at the junction by RS232 serial port. In addition,it can achieve the transmission of schemes data without networking.The signal machine main control system uses the embedded OS based on Linux and the ARM11 microprocessor S3C6410.According to the protocol of communication, the system checks the scheme data from the position machine, and then stores the data into the SQLite database.The system completes the settings and modification of the signal scheme.The results of the business process testing to signal distribution indicate that the scheme disposition system operates smoothly, performs perfectly in function and runs steadily when it communicates with the signal machine main control system, and it can implement the transmission and storage of the signal scheme.It has high reference and practical value in the urban traffic signal control system.
