In recent years, with the development of energy dissipation technology, by setting dampers in the structure to dissipate seismic energy, reduce the structural response, has become an important means of structural seismic response control technology. Institution of damper arrangement is an important factor that influence the working efficiency of damper, at present, the project of common institutions of damper arrangement have the diagonal arrangement, chevron arrangement, toggle-brace arrangement and scissor jack arrangement, etc. But these institutions often take up large space and hinder vision, which does not satisfy the people building the use of functional requirements. In order to overcome the deficiencies of existing technology, this paper proposes a new arrangement institution——open-space-damper energy dissipation system, this institution takes up little space and can guarantee the efficiency of damper. In this paper, the open-space-damper energy dissipation system arranged carried out theoretical and experimental research, the main research contents:(1)Through analysis and comparison of existing institutions of damper arrangement, described the characteristics of the open-space-damper energy dissipation system in detail, and introduces structure, working principle, the parameters of the system and other information.(2)Through theoretical analysis, calculation model of open-space-damper energy dissipation system arranged to analyze the system arranged in geometric configuration, to derive the displacement magnification factor of the system; The system stress analysis to study the relationship between the force of the deployment mechanism attached to the structure and the damping force; Analysis of the equivalent damping ratio when the structure using the system set up linear viscous dampers and non-linear viscous dampers.(3)Through the test of open-space-damper energy dissipation system layout the accuracy of the displacement magnification factor. To furnish open type damper layout of steel frame for the model, sine displacement excitation test on it. A steel frame model that sine displacement excitation test on in the installation of this system. To study the characteristics of the system under dynamic loads, and to analyze the relationship between the frame lateral and the damper displacement when the system at different displacement amplitude and different frequency case.(4)Through the analysis of SAP2000 software research shock absorption performance when the structure set up open-space-damper energy dissipation system. In a six-story steel frame as the prototype, using SAP2000 software analysis of the original structure, the structure that use of viscous dampers by diagonal arrangement, the structure that use of viscous dampers by open-space-damper, for time history analysis multi earthquake and rarely met earthquake. Through comparing the three structure dynamic response, to verify the feasibility of open-space-damper energy dissipation system in practical engineering applications.Studies have shown that open-space-damper energy dissipation system to take up the space is little and can ensure that the work efficiency of the damper,can be applied to practical engineering.
