Material system includes Sankey fish ponds agricultural landscape, Waterway embankment engineering landscape, Sericulture buildings and facilities landscape, settlement landscape of the ponds and the pan-Sankey ponds landscape. non-material systems includes history, folk culture, traditional crafts,ecological engineering technology and so on.In the foundation of combing the Pearl River Delta Sankey fish ponds landscape heritage’s components, this dissertation Comprehensively analyzed the complex value of the Sankey fish ponds landscape heritage, elaborated the development status and problems of the Sankey fish ponds landscape and try to explore the protection strategy of the Sankey fish ponds landscape heritage.
