Invesitgation And Evaluation Of Urban Arteries Greening Landscape For Zhujiang New Town In Guangzhou

Road green reflect city style, social formation, historical culture and development level,urban main road is the card of city image, its greening environment is especially important. Urban main road green with architecture and road constitutes urban street space and urban landscape. Urban main road green includes border tree, road planting, etc. In this study, we focus on the investigation of urban arteries greening landscape of Zhujiang New Town in Guangzhou. Through the field research and estimation of urban arteries greening landscape for Zhujiang New Town in Guangzhou, we summarized the greening characteristics, road green cultivated varieties and collocation method of Zhujiang New Town main roads and proposed the improved suggestions for green.Firstly, relative concepts of urban road green space were studied deeply and the historical development and practices of urban road greening at home and abroad were sorted out and reviewed, also the functions and designing principles of main road greening were summarized. This can provide the theoretical principles for us to investigate urban arteries greening landscape in Guangzhou, also guidelines for other researchers to study main road greening.Then, we had field investigations of four main roads of Zhujiang New Town in Guangzhou—Linjiang avenue, Huacheng avenue, Guangzhou avenue, Liede avenue through field surveying and mapping and photographing. Through analyzing the characteristics of main road greening in Zhujiang New Town, road green cultivated varieties and collocation method of Zhujiang New Town main roads were summarized.Thereafter, we used analytic hierarchy process to estimate four main roads greening landscape in Zhujiang New Town in Guangzhou, and calculate the quality grade of different main road greening landscape. We found that the quality grades of greening landscape of Linjiang avenue and Huacheng avenue is better than those of Guangzhou avenue and Liede avenue.Finally, we summarized the greening characteristics, road green cultivated varieties and collocation method of Zhujiang New Town main roads and proposed the improved suggestions for green.
