Currently, the commercial complex is in the period of large-scale construction and retrofit, in the face of urban land resource crunch and theme experiential consumption prevailed, which on the one hand must cope with architectural design contradiction under the trend of intensification, on the other hand is constantly seeking the way of the transformation of business differentiation. Now related commercial complex research has gradually extended to investigate the extension of its multiple values instead of functional space kernel in the past. Roof top commercial space as an important part of the commercial complex, on the surface is to exploit and utilize the roof top space available, which essentially is the product of business transformation, to some extent, it not only enriches the connotation of experiential consumption, but also a re-creation to city living and the form of consumer demand. However, domestic related built cases are almost the implant of design concept outside, for the corresponding design theory and systematic research is relatively scarce, also emerged blindly doctrine on design.Therefore, this paper takes the roof commercial space as a research object, and perspective view as synergistic, takes roof commercial space into commercial complexes and urban space systems, to explore the collaborative design、strategy and embodied synergy design value. On discourse, this paper follow two main lines: one is based on the comparative analysis of existing cases.Research on the cooperative combination of the roof commercial space by the systematic thinking and the abstract induction method; the other is a synergistic combination mode content as the evaluation purport to post-occupancy evaluation studies, and tap the potential user’s needs and attitudes of both the functional organization of space, and as a supplement and validate the theoretical analysis of the former. Specific discussion is divided into four parts :The first part is previous study. It can be divided into two parts: First, the analysis of the current practical problems in the design of commercial complex,and trait attribute roof commercial space;the second is the analysis of roof commercial space at different levels.The second part is the study of synergistic relationships of roof commercial space. This part mainly from four aspects of spatial structure, function format, traffic flow line facilities and environment were discussed, and the corresponding model of collaborative design.The third part is the study of satisfaction evaluation on roof commercial space. This part use post-occupancy evaluation to study three samples,and propose the focus of the key factors.This part will be supplement and verification of frontal part.The fourth part is the strategy design of roof commercial space. This section is a summary based on the foregoing analysis.Taking the actual construction as design-oriented, this paper propose some design strategies and methods to deal with specific design issues.
