Damage analysis is the indispensable part of weapon verification and effectiveness evaluation, and also an important reference factor for battlefield decision making. Because of the complicated process of the ship explosion, experiment is usually used to analyze and study, which is neither economical and efficient nor comprehensive. It can effectively improve the working efficiency and save the cost by using the computer simulation analysis. In view of the fact that computer technology can not realize the real-time simulation of the explosion shock wave currently. In this research, a fast visual simulation method of explosion shock damaging ship target based on offline calculation data is proposed, which mainly studies the rapid calculation of simulation results and visualization. After considering the characteristics of explosion shock wave damaging ship target, this paper comes up with a modeling method of ship target architecture that can express physical structure information and the functional relationship of ship target. The model provides the structure information for simulation process and damage assessment. In this paper, we analyze the characteristics of explode shock wave damaging model, and propose a quick dynamic algorithm of damage simulation results. The algorithm can be used to estimate the damage result and dynamic analysis target structures. Finally, we design a visual simulation of shock wave damaging ship target to test the feasibility of the methods mentioned above. In visualization, the program provides the functions of damage process simulation and damage result evaluation.
