Subway construction project is a complex system engineering, with characteristics such as large investment, long construction period, complex surrounding environment, complicated construction technology, intensive labor and many unforeseen factors. There are big construction risks and accidents are likely to happen, so it is necessary to identify, analyze and evaluate various risks that may arise in the construction, and develop targeted preventive measures and emergency plans for the acceptable risks according to the evaluation results.This article is based on a large number of domestic and foreign literatures, analyzes the accidents occurring in subway construction in recent years, summarizes the current situation and problems of subway construction risk management, and clarifies the necessity and the urgency to strengthen risk management of subway construction. Further, the author uses Suzhouqiao station project of Beijing Subway Line 16 as the background, employ risk management theory to study from two aspects, i.e. construction operation risk and environmental risk, through methods such as survey method, system analysis method, logical reasoning method, and job risk analysis method(LEC).Construction risks and environmental risks are identified, analyzed and evaluated, and appropriate measures are adopted.A risk management organization was established in the engineering practice to practice whole process risk management. Construction risks were comprehensively identified and analyzed using the experience of similar projects or expert investigation method. Risk management account was established and whole process information management was implemented using information management tools such as video surveillance and third-party monitoring and warning system. Standardization and standardized management was carried out, which effectively reduced security risk and accident rate. New equipment and new technology were used to reduced manual work at construction site, which reduced security risks.Based on the study on construction risk management of Suzhouqiao subway station,whole-process, informationalized and scientific risk control measures were used, which effectively reduced the construction risks of subway project, improved the ability to predict and pre-judge construction risks, and the ability of emergency treatment, which deserves extensive applications and promotion in subway construction risk management.
