A design approach of an integrated guidance and control of missile-borne embedded computer system is proposed in this paper, which utilizes a multi-core DSP as the central data processing unit and a FPGA as the co-processing unit. The approach takes advantages of the multi-core processor’s resources, which provides a powerful hardware platform for data processing, data transmission and complex algorithm implementation in high speed and capacity. Aiming at real-time parallel processing, the system processing tasks are assigned to ach processor core evenly in a master-slave mode based on parallel software design.The design method of integrated guidance and control projectile computer is introduced based on traditional missile-borne embedded computer with single processor.The advantages and prospects of the proposed design method are discussed in the paper. In addition, the details of hardware design and software programming of the projectile computer system development is formulated. On the basis of structure of multi-core DSP and FPGA, several interconnection schemes are put forward and demonstrated. The system’s architectures are divided into four module, and the major schematic diagrams are posted in the chapters, with brief explanation.Except for the device driver program, the inter-core synchronization and big data interaction between memories are also discussed, the optimum scheme is purposed proposed by verifying and comparing.The function module of integrated guidance and control of missile-borne embedded computer are divided reasonably and mapped to each processor core evenly. In view of the multi-levels memories, mechanism of DMA big data transfering and technology inter-core synchronization, the scheme of multitask parallel processing is proposed in the end of this paper.
