Vehicular Ad-hoc Network is used to solve traffic congestion and safety problems in urban road traffic, and has broad application prospects. However, due to the large number of vehicle nodes in urban transport, the movement without the law, the periodic congestion in commuting and the network topology changes frequently, it is likely to cause the following phenomenon: routing frequently broken, the delay of transmission is too long and the rate of packet arrival is too low and so on. It brings a great challenge to the entire network performance. Therefore, the design of a stable and efficient VANET routing protocol has important practical significance. This issue analyzes the operating characteristics of the bus as a special vehicle in urban road network, and proposes a bus ad hoc routing algorithm BB-RLM which is based on the run circuit diagram. It solves the problem of data packet transmission between the different bus lines and routing selection. Then, based on the bus ad hoc network, using regional cluster and zone routing protocol, propose the routing protocol of BB-ZRP which is based on bus ad hoc network. Built cluster at urban road network that use bus node as the head node of cluster and ordinary car node as intra-node of the cluster, using this way to establish cluster which contain all the ordinary car node, thus facilitating routing queries, finally use zone routing protocol to attend the routing process of the entire road network. Finally, based on the above description, establish simulation environment which use MOVE software to emulate BB-RLM algorithm and BB-ZRP algorithm. The simulation results show that BB-RLM algorithm and BB-ZRP algorithm can improve the routing performance at a certain extent, have a good result.
