Energy industry is the fundamental industry of national economic development, electricity is the vanguard industry of the national economy, the condenser is one of the important equipment in power plant, it is normal operation will save energy.In this paper, the present situation of steam turbine condenser is analyzed, the problems existing in the old condenser are pointed out. The influence of the condenser performance index and the transformation of the old condenser is discussed. The vacuum of condenser has a great influence on the economy and safety of steam turbine operation.The original steam turbine cooling system of a power plant is a common light pipe cooling system, which includes the condenser, cooling water pump, condensate pump and air pump, cooling tower, etc.At present, A certain power plant condenser has 17 years of operation, copper pipe corrosion is more serious, and there is a certain degree of vibration, the system is not set up in addition to scale facilities. The effect of condenser heat transfer is reduced, and the pipeline is arranged to achieve the purpose of energy saving by changing the condenser tube.
