Energy is the important material basis of mankind’s survival,also it is the main bottleneck which restrict the development of the society.The industrial energy consumption accounts for more than 70% of the total energy consumption in our country, at least 50% of the energy consumption is industrial waste heat of the different temperature witch most can be recycled.So as a basic national policy of our country, energy saving and emission reduction is a major strategic security and the extremely urgent task that the sustainable development faced in our country.The energy efficiency is low and the energy consumption is high in our country.In addition to the factors that the production technology is relatively backward and industrial structure is irrational,the low rate of industrial waste heat utilization,poor economic benefit and inadequate comprehensive utilization of energy are the important cause of high energy consumption.Energy efficiency in china is only about 33%, about 10% lower than the developed countries, and at least 50% of the industrial energy consumption is directly discarded in various forms of waste heat.So the upside potential of the waste heat utilization is large and the energy saving potential is tremendous. In order to promote energy conservation and emissions reduction vigorously,reduce energy consumption, improve energy comprehensive utilization, a new generation of small and high efficiency power equipment for low temperature waste heat become an important research direction.This article mainly aims at the low temperature waste heat utilization technology.Because of the factors that the utilization of waste heat resources are not reasonable in some areas and efficiency of the small electric power equipment technology at low temperature is low,the energy has been wasted.So it is particularly important to improve energy efficiency especially improve energy utilization of low temperature waste heat power generation system.This article is mainly to test the small single screw expander power equipment performance and to find the influence factors of performance of single screw expander.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The single screw expander experiment testing system with the compressed air and steam heating have been designed and builded.Experimental equipment has been modified based on the original experiment and the experimental platform has been builded by adding the oil circulation system to study on the different influence of water between vapor and oil.(2)Some water vapour was injected into the compressed air to change the moisture content. And then, the performance under different moisture content of the compressed air has been analysed by measuring and calculating the performance parameters such as power, gas consumption rate, thermal efficiency.The results show that the efficiency of the single screw expander can be effectively improved with the water.(3)Operation parameters of the single screw expander was observed and the consequence was analysed under different viscosity of lubricating oil.Different temperatures has a different influence on lubricating oil and the single screw expander.So another objective is to measure the operational parameters of single screw expander by changing the temperature of the compressed air.The results show that the different viscosity of lubricating oil has a different influence on the single screw expander,and the smaller the viscosity, the higher the efficiency of the expander.
