The Research Of Dynamic Tire Model Based On Lugre Friction Theory

Currently the steady state tire model is widely used, but there are certain error description on the dynamic characteristics of the tire, this paper introduced a new type of tire model--the LuGre tire dynamic model, the model can better explain the friction between tire and road surface, can accurately describe the dynamic and static characteristics of friction part.Based on the integrated tire model on the basis of the research status at home and abroad, and based on the dynamic friction theory, the dynamic tire LuGre model that used to study the vehicle dynamic characteristics is set up, and the expressions to describe the vehicle tire longitudinal and lateral forces is established,as a basis for vehicle dynamics simulation. This paper used the genetic algorithm (GA) as a tool, to identify the model in the static parameters, and then going the parameter identification of dynamic model, and analyzes the influence of model parameters on the model accuracy.Seven degrees of freedom vehicle dynamics model is set up in the MATLAB/Simulink, including the vehicle longitudinal motion, lateral movement and yawing motion and dynamic characteristics of the four wheel rotation. The results show that the accuracy of the established dynamic tire model is good, and it can be used in vehicle dynamic characteristics simulation research.Finally, with the tools of system simulation software ADAMS/Car, built a vehicle dynamics model include a car body, front and rear suspension, steering system and tire. Compared the vehicle model used the magic formula tire model and dynamic tire LuGre model, to verify the accuracy of the dynamic tire model in this paper. Compared with the result of side-slip Angle and other transient response, the results show that the tire LuGre model established in this paper is consistent with the magic formula model, and it can be used to study the vehicle dynamic mechanical characteristics.
