Landscape Design Of Ecological Revetment Of Mengdong River In Yongshun County

As the boundary of river, the revetments, which is the boundary of the water and land, plays a decisive role in the ecological landscape of the overall river. Therefore, revetment design is the key and essence of channel design, the quality of its design directly affects landscape benefit and ecological benefit of the entire river. In the process of ecological revetment design, it it requires landscape designers to combine with the related knowledge of ecological protection and landscape design, to take synthetically into account ecological, landscape and social dimensions, and to study and discuss landscape design of ecological revetment. This paper takes Mengdong River on both sides of the embankment in Yongshun County as the object of study, and carries on the practice research to landscape design of its ecological revetment, the results obtained are as follows:(1) Through the methods of the literature consulting, on-the-spot investigation and comparative research methods, the related concepts of ecological revetment are analysed and summed up, the advantages of ecological revetment are acquainted.(2) With the aid of the domestic and foreign related cases, the general situation of the project and design strategy are analysed and researched respectively, the referenced experience and enlightenment of ecological revetment design are summarized.(3) In a perspective of ecological design, it is the functions, types and selection of materials of ecological revetment that be analysed, and the methods of landscape design of ecological revetment are discussed.(4) According to the above research contents, the revetments of Mengdong River in Yongshun County are taked as the research object, which is divided into three sections, north, central and south, on the basis of the analysis of the present situation, this article makes clear design principles, guidelines and design specifications, sets design orientation and the general idea of design, designs about landscape for Mengdong River, and conducts special analysis for the ecological revetment and plant design.So, this paper sets theoretical discussion, case analysis and research on specific projects, discusses on the methods of landscape design of ecological revetment, and hopes for providing a good reference for ecological revetment construction of the future urban river.
