Along with the social economy rapid development, The traditional large-scale power grid is also expanding, its disadvantages are also gradually revealed. At the same time, the user's requirements of the power supply reliability, security and economy performance is more and more high. However, wind power, solar power, biomass power generation, fuel cells and other distributed power penetration in power system are gradually improving. Under such a circumstance, the experts proposed the concept of micro-grid technology. A micro-grid contains a variety of micro-power, energy storage systems, and load control,It can be independently controlled, self-management and self-protection.In this paper,based on the detailed investigation of development and trends on distributed generation and the micro grid technology, proposed the possibilities of multi-agent technology and game theory applied to micro grid. First of all, this paper introduced the basic principle of Multi- Agent System, analyzed the MAS technology in electric power system application as well as the feasibility and necessity of the application in micro-grid, pointed out the features and advantages of MAS technology,and made a brief introduction of key technologies of the MAS applied to the islands micro-grid,such as the structure and function of MAS, FIPA contract net protocol and software platform etc. Then, aiming at different micro power supply in micro grid(including wind power, solar power and batteries) as well as the different characteristics of the load, designed different agents, builded the micro grid multi-agent system used the MAS framework. Based on the FIPA contract net protocol, developed a coordinated control strategy of the multi-agent system. Using JADE platform, implement each agent, analyzed the microgrid MAS coordinated control strategy.Then,introduced the differential game theory,and analyzed the possibility of it was used in coordinated control of micro-grid which contains multiple micro power. Built the micro-grid system model on Matlab/simulink platform which contains multiple micro power. Solved the linear quadratic differential feedback Nash equilibrium of each micro power, and used it as micro grid underlying coordinated control strategy. At last, by MACsim communication software, the MAS on the top floor of JADE platform collected the real-time information of each micro power on Matlab/simulink platform, once any changes happened(such as load disturbance), each agent would proceed the coordinated control based on the FIPA contract net protocol,and transferred the final result of the coordinated control to the micro-grid system model which on the Matlab/simulink simulation platform via the communication channel,the micro-grid system model in response to the decision result.
