With the acceleration of national development, on the one hand, a more strict demand for water yield and flood prevention is put forward as result of daily life and sustainable development, on the other hand, the flow conditions from Huaibin to Laozishan are very complex. The intensified influence of human economic activities caused brought a series of problems.In this paper, calculate and analysis the related reach from Huaibin to Laozishan. The study are belongs to the plain river, there are three types of plane shapes:Straight type, bending type and braided type. Part of the regional water flow is impeded and the flow of water movement is complex. It is important to optimize the flood control effect and maximize the overall effectiveness of the hydraulic architecture with existing dynamic models.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1. Has a brief analysis of hydrological data and landform data from Huaibin to Laozishan. Analysis the present situation water environment and some problems. Consider the effect of flow on surrounding environment.2. Measure the river water level, water quantity measurement, variation of topography and other characteristics, to provide the corresponding conditions of hydraulic calculation and analysis.3. In order to ensure the accuracy of the research and analysis of the hydrodynamic model, the channel roughness is determined.4. Using the mathematical model of the Huaibin to Laozishan section of flood and accurate hydrologic basic data to calculate water level and flow.
