The Study On Spatial Environment Of Community Based On Children’’s Safety Of Commuting To School

In recent years, frequent occurrence of children’s safety incidents has aroused high concern of the whole society. The community is an important carrier of children’s activities, in which the existence of some potential risks will inevitably threaten the safety of children. Therefore, improving spatial environment of community and strengthening the care and protection of children has no time to delay.This study is based on the perspective of children’s safety of commuting to school, analyzing the design and optimization of spatial environment of community from three aspects of children’s behavior psychological characteristics, community planning and spatial environment of community. Firstly, the basic research and analysis of the psychological security of children are conducted through questionnaires and interviews from the perspective of psychological security of children’s activities, supplemented with analysis on psychological and behavioral safety of children at different ages in community with different spatial structures, improving each angle of the whole content, which lays the foundation for the following study. Secondly, from the perspective of community planning, it analyzes the security correlation between children’s path of action and spatial structure of community by using GPS technology. The research sorts out the types of spatial structure, and with the combination of the actual situation, selects two representative community cases to take children’s action tracking experiment, so that the experimental data can be obtained. Then, analysis of spatial security in community is made from the overall distribution characteristics of children’s behavior tracks and the kernel density distribution of their paths, while the kernel density analysis is mainly conducted from three perspectives such as the road space, access to space and velocity characteristics of path. Finally, based on the former research of security in community planning, the study selects four types of physical space and five kinds of environmental facilities in community to make systematical investigation one by one, according to relevant theory and field observation.This paper analyzes the security of spatial environment in community and the security correlation between children’s action path and spatial structure of community, and explores spatial environment of community from multi-angle view, with aspects of the children’s behavior and psychological characteristics, the theory of spatial security using GPS technology and other methods. It provides support for the research on safe and stable spatial environment and security of children’s behavior and psychology, and also provides reference basis for planning and design methods of creating safe space and environment in community, which will play certain role in promoting for the creation of safe community.
