Earth construction has a long history in the history of mankind, as a Building structure which is still widespread in the remote area, earth construction has many excellent original style and important economic and social value. As the key research object of wall materials, although the strength of the traditional raw soil materials is low, but they have excellent thermal insulation and damping function. So it has important strategic significances to strengthen the modified design research of the raw soil materials to improve its applicable range and increase the utilization ratio, reduce engineering cost and strengthen ecological and social sustainable development. In order to improve the mechanical properties of raw soil wall-based materials without significantly reducing its natural thermal insulation function, this topic is designed for gradient when raw soil materials are modified in order to achieve Property and function at the same time.This topic that is based on raw soil which are modified with inorganic materials, organic polymer and plant fiber and designed as gradient, is to study the mechanical performance and thermal insulating properties of raw soil-based gradient of composite modified wall materials.The study shows that:(1)20% of the amount of sanding can effectively reduce the possibility of raw soil material shear deformation and failure and improve its mechanical properties. Compared with other types of water reducing agent, AJ-2z type retarded aliphatic water reducer has good adaptability to the raw soil materials.(2)In the materials with only modified material, cement and polyacrylamide can improve the mechanical properties of raw soil materials largely. Lime and fly ash do not have obviously effect when they affect in the same way.(3)In the combination modification of cement and polyacrylamide significantly reduce the early strength and with the increasing dosage of polyacrylamide its strength reduces greatly. When the dosage of it is 1%, the strength is still lower than the single modified strength although the strength of the modified raw soil-based wall materials recovers to a degree.(4)In the composite modification of inorganic gelled materials, the flexural strength and compressive strength of the modified raw soil materials is 2.9MP and 6.4MP when 60% of raw soil, 20% of standard sand, 20% of the inorganic modified materials is the corresponding proportion of appropriate modification(cement, fly ash, slaked lime=5:3:2).(5)When the dosage of jute which is treated with caustic soda solution is 0.8v% in the modified raw soil materials, it can largely improve the flexural strength and the compressive strength can improve to a certain extent.(6)The composite raw soil wall functional gradient materials design and performance test and analysis can be conducted, and can be compared with the same uniform specimen which has the same mixture ratio and dosage of modified materials. The results show that the modified jute can improve the thermal insulation performance of the modified raw soil materials, gradient can be designed to further improve the mechanical properties of the modified raw soil wall materials, and can weaken the inherent loss of heat preservation and heat insulation function at the same time.
