The System Development And Research Of Vector Character Ink-Jet Printer

With the improvement of the level of modernization of production, the ink-jet printer has become indispensable automated production equipment in the production line, especially in the food packaging industry, steel and cable pipes and some other manufacturing areas, it is required to have a clear date of manufacture and production labels and so on.This paper presents a vector character printing scheme, and develops vector character ink-jet printer system which meets the requirements for commercial use, it plays an important role in the development of enterprise information.This paper introduces the background of coding technology, research status, significance of research and development trend firstly, then, the overall scheme design of the system is presented, the principle and implementation method of the vector character are explained in detail.After completing the overall scheme design, according to the existing ejector structure, and improve it, the direction of ink flow that is vertical to the moving iron core is changed that is parallel to the moving iron core. So it doesn’t impact the moving iron core when ink flows into ejector, the structure can also improve the performance and service life of the ejector. by analyzing the ink flow characteristics of and calculating the basic parameters of ejector structure, some key parameters of ejector can be determined, such as valve chamber pressure, nozzle hole diameter, nozzle hole length, the maximum displacement of moving iron core. At the same time, circulating ink system is designed according to the requirements of ink circuit.According to the function to be achieved, the control system of vector character ink-jet printer is designed, it includes hardware circuits and software programs. In the hardware circuit, PC is as a host computer, STC12C5A60S2 chip is as controller, that transmits data with the host computer through the RS-232 serial communication, at the same time, the font module, encoder module and high-speed solenoid valve drive module and step motor control module is also designed. In terms of software, serialport control in Visual Basic 2010 is introduced, and the control properties are described, and PC interface is written, the SPI communication of font chip and vector font formation process are introduced, then the writing process of vector character is introduced that how to call the vector font, judge spray writing state and complete writing process of vector character according to the interpolation algorithm, and the flow chart of the program is drawn.Finally, the experiment of vector character ink-jet printer system is completed. After introduction of the vector character ink-jet printer equipment, by adjusting character size, ink pressure and the speed of step motor, the vector character of good resolution and effect is written in high speed, and the system is very stable.
