Nowadays, there are few examples of overall inclined high-rise building projects in the world and little researches on the anti-seismic performance of overall inclined structure. The influence of building structure inclination on the overall performance and the impact of inclined column on the internal force of building floor should be taken into consideration in detail.Firstly, some basic design theories of structure seismic resistance were summarized in this paper. Then the anti-seismic performance of a complex inclined high-rise building in Hangzhou was analyzed by using the design method of performance. Some prominent problems of structure seismic resistance, such as the inclined column frame, the building floor stress, the column joint of "Y" and the high position corridor, were analyzed. Seismic response analyses were carried out by using response spectrum method and time history analysis method. The internal forces of floor slab, internal and external inclined columns were obtained. Some strengthening measures on column joints "Y" were put forward on the basis of finite element analysis. Finally, the methods and the specific measures of controlling slip of high position corridor were put forward.The results show that it is applicable and rational to analyze the inclined column frame core tube structure by using the seismic performance design method. The frame beams at the bottom end of internal inclined column frame and the upper end of the external inclined column frame are stretch-bending member. Some strengthening measures should be taken for the frame beams at the bottom end of internal inclined column frame because of larger tensile force. The horizontal and the vertical displacement of inclined column in the inclined direction is larger than those of the same frame layer, then the internal force caused by the deformation should be paid more attention in the design process. Larger tensile stresses are produced in the starting and ending parts of the inclined column frame and can be dealt with by the measures of increasing the plate thickness and employing two-layer double-direction pulling reinforcement of plate. The processing method at the cross joints of the column "Y" should be taken seriously into consideration in order to guarantee the reliability of joint connection. The computing method of controlling the sliding displacement and the measures of anti-falling and anti-collision are put forward for the high position corridor using the slip connection.
