This paper mainly studies the factors, that affect the switching performance of DC switching regulator. Selecting the high performance step-down switching regulator LTC3850 of Linear as the research object, deducing the working principle model of circuit, designing principle circuit, determining component parameters, analyzing the electromagnetic interference factors, selecting the proper circuit component, and using the reasonable layout and suitable circuit routing, we can achieve the optimization of the performance of the voltage regulator in hardware.At the same time,by connecting low power consumption micro micro controller to the voltage controller, we can display the output parameters and the working state of the voltage regulator through LCD. And we can control the working mode and working frequency of the voltage regulator by software, and can control the voltage run or standby by operating its pin of run. This can make it adapt to many different working conditions and reduce its power dissipation. Also this can make greater optimization on the voltage regulator’s working performance.This, we use the simulation software provided by linear,and that is based on the spice(Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis)circuit description language model, to simulate and analysis the power conversion circuit. We can observe the waveform of output voltage, and evaluate the efficiency of the circuit, get the power consumption of various components in the circuit. The circuit is improved by using the simulation results, and can achieve high performance of the DC-DC switching voltage regulator.There, through the test of the printed circuit board, including the test of the hardware circuit without the low power consumption micro controller, as well as with the micro controller for software testing, according to the test results, we optimize the power conversion circuit, and make the power supply achieve the expected purpose.
