With the continuous increasing of social economy and the advance of urbanization process and the expansion of the urban size, the spatial organization of the city is changing: urban functional partition has become increasingly apparent, and living areas separated from production areas which leads to the flowing of personnel and supplies between different areas; in the same time, with the expansion of the living areas and production areas, inner groups of the city is forming and with the expansion of central city, the city clusters is forming which causes the space distance increase at the flowing of personnel and supplies between these groups and clusters and the flowing happening at the same time. So there are conflicts between achieving the flowing which mainly depends on road transportation and the congested road caused by urbanization. Because of the advantages of full coverage, high density, large capacity, around the clock, high efficiency and low pollution, the urban rail transit becomes the new choice to meet the travel demand of people. But the flowing of supplies is restricted by the growing problem of traffic congestion in the urbanization process. And it breaks the development of social economy and the city. The rail transport based on the rest transport capacity of urban rail transit is a new idea which can meet the needs of material flow.In the recent decade, with the rapid development of e-commerce, shopping online becomes a part of life, which caused the increasingly demands of city distribution, the diversified service requests and the high requirement on timeliness. Therefore, the city distribution which depends on the road transport is facing with huge problems which is the traffic congestion during the distribution, the delay or broken-off in the process of distribution, the and customer experience and the high cost and low level of service to the distribution enterprises. By the urban rail transit, the travel demands of citizen, with features of mass, rapid and convenience, is satisfied. Meanwhile, are there any possibilities to distribute goods and make use of the advantages of the urban rail transit to satisfy the demands of material flow?Based on the advantages of full coverage, high density, large capacity, around the clock, high efficiency and low pollution and considering the structure of urban railway network, the coverage of urban railway, the source of time, the source of space and the source of facility instrument, this article conducts research of put urban rail transport into the system of urban distribution and building the service network of urban distribution. The following is the main research:Based on the introduce of the definition, birth and development of distribution, this article explained the change of the scope of distribution which mean the scope of distribution transforms was determined by the distance of time and space but not only by the distance of space. And this article explained the change of distribution’s demands caused by the development of social economy, the advance of urbanization process and the booming of e-commerce. And this article discussed the problem that the way which depended on the road transport was not able to satisfy the new demands of distribution. Therefore, this article introduced the concept of the urban distribution based on urban rail transport and carried on feasibility analysis to this problem.This article described the idea of building the urban distribution network based on rail transport, and defined the node and channel of this network, and analyzed the factors of choosing channels.By adjacent matrix and incidence matrix, this article described the picture of the distribution network based on rail transport, analyzed the generalized cost of route, defined the effective route. Based those research, this article improved the search algorithm of DFS, and through it searched the effective route, and calculate the key sections and turn them into nodes of temporary storage. Based on the result of search, with the object that the cost is minimized, build the model of channel selection without capacity constraints firstly, and build the model of channel selection with constraints of section’s carrying capacity and transfer nodes’ transfer capacity.
