As one of the hydraulic drive cylinder actuators used in many occasions, the hydraulic cylinder piston rod can require a long stay in a fixed position, that is, when the power cut off oil, under the effect of the external load without displacement piston rod. The traditional approach is to design a hydraulic lock loop, however, due to the inevitable presence of oil leakage of hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic valve, the piston rod cannot guarantee a long stay in a fixed position, especially in case of large loads, more severe leak traditional hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic valve lock technology cannot meet the requirements, hidden safety problems. In view of the above problems,it must use mechanical lock cylinder special structure so it can stop the movement and withstand large loads, and require it to have a precise positioning.In this paper, based on the recent research results of the hydraulic and mechanical hydraulic cylinders at home and abroad, this paper analyzes and summarizes the relevant research. According to Xuzhou Ao bo company provide the related parameters and requirements to determine the overall structure and technical parameters of the adjustable type mechanical self-locking hydraulic cylinder, the key mechanical lock tight parts (cylinder, piston rod and the front end and the rear end cover, etc.) the detailed structural design and verification, before and after the end of the cover and the P/roe three-dimensional software 3D modeling of hydraulic cylinder, and on the basis of the external locking tight part of the rack and pinion teeth and gear boxes and other parts of the strength and modal analysis. In addition to the AMEsim software adjustable mechanical self-locking hydraulic cylinder based on Modeling and simulation, based on the speed of the hydraulic cylinder, locking force, stability and safety of characteristic research.This paper presents mechanical self-locking hydraulic cylinder with a deputy’s support cylinders. The significance of this research is to ensure the stability, safety and accuracy of hydraulic locking when the hydraulic system is leaking and "soft leg" phenomenon.
