Because the reinforced concrete frame structure building layout is flexible, it can greatly meet the building requirements and growing applied in civil buildings. And the Wenchuan and Yushu earthquake disaster happen frequently, causing great harm to the safety of the lives and property of the people. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the vulnerability of reinforced concrete frame structure. Then ensure the people’s property and life safety has important significance. This study will introduce the inelastic displacement response spectrum value and the seismic parameters considering the yielding displacement of frame structure of the main formation period and the structure. Then use the seismic parameters to evaluate the vulnerability of the frame structure.This study will use the non elastic displacement response spectrum value as a ground motion intensity parameter. The influence of parameter setting on the prediction results is investigated. The applicability of the research on the nonlinear response of the frame structure is studied. Performance index of structural damage is quantification. The vulnerability of the frame structure is evaluated using the inelastic displacement response spectrum. Based on the existing theory of seismic design code, the following contents are studied:(1) Through the established six different periods of reinforced concrete frame structure model, selected 79 seismic records. Then use incremental dynamic analysis method to study the non elastic displacement response spectrum value in the assessment of the vulnerability of the frame structure of the applicability and validity.(2) Quantifying framework structure damage index. The inelastic displacement response spectrum is used as the ground motion parameter. Seismic hazard curve based on inelastic displacement response spectrum is obtained; the fragility curves of frame structure are obtained by using incremental dynamic analysis method; then define the collapse mode of the frame structure, the anti collapse safety reserve coefficient of the frame structure is obtained.The results of this study indicate that:(1) When calculating the inelastic displacement response spectrum of a single degree of freedom oscillator, it should adopt the static yield displacement 1/4~1/2.(2)By establishing the relationship between the damage level and the performance level of the frame structure, the fragility curves of frame structure are obtained. The damage of frame structure under the action of this kind of earthquake is obtained. It can provide reference for the analysis of the vulnerability of the framework in the future.
