Urban rail transit has the advantages of large capacity, high speed, high efficiency, energy saving and so on. By the end of 2015, 25 cities in the mainland of China has 110 operational urban rail transit lines and the total operating mileage reached 3293 km.. System integrated test is a very important and indispensable link in the construction of urban rail transit and it determines the, operation performance, quality, coordination and security directly.This article first through the introduction of the urban rail transportation line construction of China’s current situation, the purpose of this study is pointed out; Then the definition, purpose and significance, working content and working points of System integrated test are studied; Third through the research on system integrated test implementation of the airport line of nanjing metro, describes how to establish a scientific and rational integrated equipment test organization, defines the responsibilities of the parties involved; Fourth the pre-conditions and tasks of the System Integrated Test are analyzed, and the task list of the system integrated test is obtained, Finally summed up the urban rail transit system in the 14 types of projects should be carried out and the sub items of the 14 types of system integrated test which should be included in the project are analyzed.Currently there are no standard technical specifications concerning integrated tests for urban rail transit systems in China, and methods for designing and implementing such tests vary in different cities. In this paper, an integrated system test planning solution is proposed, which can provide certain guidance for future urban rail transit system constructions. Also, it may serve as a reference for measuring quality of system integrated tests for urban rail transit systems across the nation. Further researches and improvements through practice in this field will be required in the future.
