With the widely application of Fiber Reinforced polymer(FRP) bar in all fields,The FRP bolts has become a hot issue in the slope reinforcement project which causes attention of numbers of scholars.Due to the particular properties of Fiber reinforce polymer bolt, such as, light weight, high strength, corrosion-resistant and the shock-resistance. FRP bolt has been more and more expected in replacing traditional ordinary steel bolts in practical engineering, it’s used to solve the problems such as steel bolt corrosion and difficulties in construction.Firstly, take a briefly introduce of the basic concepts and research methods on the slope, clear the importance of slope stability. Based on this, making a research on the causes of the slope instability and the supporting measures, putting forward the numerical simulation method of Flac3 d in this paper. By using the Flac3 d calculation,make analysis and evaluation on the natural slope and the anchored slope, has proved the feasibility of the FRP bolt support. Then selecting the Luoyang LuHun irrigation district as the example to analyze and discussing the the application of FRP bolts in the comprehensive management of the channel in the muddy irrigation district. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1 Combined with research status of the channel slope stability and the FRP bolt support, making a systematical analysis on the basic concept of slope, the influence factors of slope unstability and the main reinforcement. Raise a project on using bolts to support the soil slopes. Through the analysis of fiber reinforced polymer bar and the reinforcement mechanism, providing theory basis for the the application of FRP in the channel slope anchor supporting engineering.2 The slope model numerical analysis could be established on the Flac3 d. Based on the numerical analysis tool: Flac3 d, the level of slope horizontal displacement,vertical displacement, stress, safety factor of shear strain nephogram, velocity vector and so on can be used to analyze the stability of slope. By changing the slope angle,the anchor angle and the anchor length and other factors, the effect of FRP bolts support under different scenarios is analyzed.3 On this basis, making a comparison between the FRP bolts and the ordinary steel bolts in application results of soil slope reinforcement engineering to discuss the design methods and give the related construction suggests which will provide theoretical basis and reference for the popularity of FRP bolts in slope reinforcement engineering and the development of corresponding standards and regulations.4 Luoyang Lu Hun irrigation district is one of the largest irrigation districts in Henan province. The canal is located in the hilly areas which have high fill slopes on both sides. In addition, some of those have small deformation instability problems.According to the current situation of canal slope research and the data of exploration,design and monitoring, the typical channel slope model is established, and the comparative analysis of the natural slope and the anchored slope with multiple factors and multiple angles is realized.The results show that the FRP bolt support can effectively improve the overall stability of the slope of the channel.
