With the development of the power industry, the transmission lines increase gradually. At the same time, the most of the transmission towers are constructed at the slopes of steep mountain. It is necessary to analyze the soil slope stability under transmission tower loading. The paper contains the field research the slope stability with the tower loading along the transmission lines in Shenzhen and Hong Kong by collecting original data and geological survey of these slopes. The purpose is to recognize the current situation which is the slopes are confronted with. The key factors influencing slope stability are obtained. The grey correlation model is employed analyze the sensitivities of influencing factors of slopes under the transmission tower loading. This model regards sensitive factors as sub-sequences, the corresponding safety factors of slopes as primary-sequences. Transforming method of the model is top-difference which revolve the basic date without the dimension. And then the purpose is to assess the sensitivities of influencing factors using the result by correlative degrees. Followed the slope stability under the transmission tower loading is analysis through the plane model with the GEO-SLOPE/W software. The focus is to understanding the depth and the diversification disciplines of the most dangerous slips. The purpose is to provide the auxiliary basis for preliminary evaluation of these slope stability and provide reference for investigation and design of these slope reinforcement works.The original balance of these slopes is damaged with the excavation of roads. The excavation cause the release of stress and the transmission tower contain the weight loading. At the same time the towers bear the wind and snow loading. It is more complicated of these slope stability compared with the slope without tower loading. This paper contain the instability of slope at BK0+240~+380 after the Hui Yan Li Jiao excavation as the research object. The parameters of shear strength and deformation are analyzed by collecting the data of test of the same degree weathering in the same area. The three-dimensional model is established by FLAC3D software to analyze the instability caused by road excavation and judge the influence of the toe excavation. Followed work is to discuss the instability reasons. Finally, the emergency treatment program is proposed, and then the feasibility of this program is analyzed. The reinforcement work effect is assessed to ensure the reliability during construction.
