With the rapid development of society, the proportion of building energy consumption in existing energy systems increasing, and Facing with the increasing tense energy issues, how to reduce the energy consumption of HVAC systems is particularly important. There has many ways to save energy of Building Air Conditioning System,in which setting up heat eat recovery unit to recover the cooling of exhaust air has been one of the subject of the scholars home and abroad.In this paper, heat pipe heat exchanger and microchannel heat exchanger were combined to generate a new type heat exchanger --Microchannel Heat Pipe Heat Exchanger according to issue of energy saving of air conditioning system,and the thermodynamics and numerical simulation were used to study the thermal performance of different forms of fin thermal unit of microchannel heat pipe heat.Fin form of thermal unit having a crucial impact on the heat transfer performance of heat exchangers, and in this paper, straight fin, blinds fin, porous fin three kinds of heat exchange unit were carried out numerical simulation to study the flowand heat transfer process based on CFD.The main contents are as follows:Firstly, the theoretical basis of heat exchanger thermal unit flow and heat transfer and the CFD software ANSYS Workbench were described, and build physical models,mathematical models and equations of different fin thermal units flow path based on the ANSYS Workbench.Secondly, The numerical simulation is carried out on straight fin, blinds fin, porous fin thermal unit respectively, and the temperature and pressure distribution of the thermal unit flow field, fin surface temperature distribution and the fluid velocity vector, j (Heat transfer factor), f (Friction factor) FIG were obtained.Using respective experimental correlations and experimental data, compare indicators j and f to compare the article numerical results with experimental correlation calculations or experimental data,and verified the validity of the numerical simulation.Finally, use the dimensionless factor j/f as comprehensive heat index to analysis the comprehensive performance of three kinds of finned heat exchanger,and obtaind the performance differences between the three forms of fins.
