The Narrative Research Of Campus Landscape Reconstruction Design

Due to the mass enrollment in Colleges and universities. The functional requirements of the campus surges, so the school began a large-scale expansion, or new campus. However, this high-speed construction work led to a crash campus landscape, without the test of time, different regions and scale of the campus is designed as the same, as a result, there are appearing a great number campus landscape space without characteristics. Part of the campus landscape looks like the same, the campus lack their own historical and cultural characteristics, also there are no human care, only pay attention to the big axis, big square, scale disorder, they do not take care of the sense of place,also thought carelessly in creating the small space.as a result of the university students have lost the spirit of place, and local identity.Based on the research of the theory of narrative analysis, summed up the design method and theory for the campus landscapeat the macro level,we enhance the campus landscape sense of history and culture, at the meso level,we create each space in a strong atmosphere of the scene,and build a suitable landscape space, also pay attention to humanistic care, narrative landscape.at the micro level,we try to activate some small space to improve on the atmosphere sense of the whole field.This paper, through the study and discussion of the theory of narrative and narrative landscape, will be applied to the theory of landscape design, and can guide practice to form a more innovative campus narrative landscape.
