| Since the 21st century, the fast development of social economy brings people much more wealth accumulation and leisure time, and meanwhile people have a higher level of expectation on holiday travel. So far home holiday travel develops very quickly; it is huge in scale with features diversified, and it highlights "people oriented" spirit. The experience economy time has come with people’s demand for forest recreation holiday growing year by year. How to create unique and innovative experiential forest leisure resort will attract much attention from the public.This paper adopts literature research method, case analysis and reference method, field research method, and it combines design theory and practice together. Based on the analysis of historical development and design theories of resort area in home and abroad, referring to the success of excellent holiday resort or vocational village home and abroad, following related standards and principles of the planning and design of experiential forest leisure resort, taking Suichang Ecological Garden in Min Hou county, Fuzhou city, Fujian province as an example, this paper raises the significance and possibility of building forest leisure resort near modern cities and discusses these main contents as landscape space construction, building design, activities and project plan, and service management design in forest leisure resort.With experience design oriented, and ecological health as topic, forest leisure resort tries to become such a characteristic resort area as livable, touristy and enjoyable to improve the well-being of tourists and local residents.Combined with theory and practical cases, this paper summarizes that the experience design concept of resort area focus more on taking essence of local characteristics, landscape diversity and the planning of participatory activity project; while experience landscape space construction focus on these aspects as culture, water, flora and building.Finally, the present paper suggests a prospect of the role and status of forest leisure resort in the great resort building wave in our country from the perspective of experiencing, and it provides theoretical basis and valuable references to future mountain or forest resort building and developing. |
