With the further pollution of the environment and the shortage of the energy, countries have carried out research and application for electric vehicles of zero emission and energy conservation in the new century. If the electric vehicles want to be scale and industrialized development, the study of its operating organization is absolutely necessary. At the same time, in order to improve the level of government decision and realize of the reasonable allocation of resources, the techno-economic analysis for the electric vehicle’s operating organization is quite necessary. The operating organization has been developing around the world, but the form of its operating organization is not systematic and sound. It can not adapt to every kind of electric vehicle. Therefore, according to the Ni-MH capacitor battery electric bus that this topic researched, this paper proposes a new operating organization form and has carried on techno-economic analysis for this bus.First, this paper analyzes the Ni-MH capacitor battery of this electric bus. The battery has the good features of high power density, a good low-temperature property, long cycle life and strong resistance to over charge or discharge, etc. This paper also analyzes the charge-discharge of Ni-MH capacitor battery, from charge-discharge properties, charge-discharge cut-off condition and the influence of external temperature on charge-discharge performance. All of these lay a foundation for this battery of application on the bus.Second, it puts forward the operating organization form of Ni-MH capacitor battery electric bus, based on the analysis of operating organization at home and abroad. The operating organization is divided into two aspects of operation system and operation mode for research, in this topic. This bus’ operation system is:the three parties of bus company, battery manufacturer and electric power enterprise work together, be responsible for the task which they are good at in the bus operating respectively, and support the operation of Ni-MH capacitor battery electric bus. This bus’ operation mode is:it carries out the charge strategy in combination with shallow cycle quick charge and slower charge. Charging for 15 minutes can give you 30-40 kilometers run during the day and getting a full charge leaves for the next day running. Through this operation scheme, we optimize the allocation of charging infrastructure and build maintenance system for the battery and bus in order to guarantee the safe and reliable operation of Ni-MH capacitor battery electric bus route. Operation mode can be specifically broken down in three different fronts, such as the power supply model, operation scheme and charging infrastructure allocation scheme.Finally, it carries on techno-economic analysis of Ni-MH capacitor battery electric bus, based on the research of operation system and operation mode. According to the research on the techno-economic analysis index, this paper compares the Ni-MH capacitor battery electric bus with lithium battery change bus and fuel bus from the whole life cycle cost. and electric charging infrastructure cost. We also compare it with lithium battery change bus and lithium battery charge bus. The results demonstrate that the operating organization technology solution of Ni-MH capacitor battery electric bus has higher economy.
