For high-speed railway, the reliability problem is closely related to economic efficiency, physical security, etc. In order to avoid casualties and economic losses, it is necessary to analysis the reliability in high-speed railway and to study the methods of that. The main research work of this paper is as follows:(1) Research of reliability analysis method——GO methodology. Aiming at the shortcomings of the GO methodology, we improved the reliability quantitative analysis in irreparable and repairable system, such as quantitative calculation in operators, common cause failures and cold standby system.(2) Based on the improved GO methodology, we performed the reliability analysis with C3 on-board system and catenary system in high-speed railway from both views of maintenance and no maintenance.(3) Research of reliability distribution function parameter fitting methods. Parameter fitting could be converted to optimization by transferring objective function. We fitted the parameters of weibull-2 distribution based on reactive tabu search algorithm. This paper verified the correctness of parameter fitting method through modeling of subsystem in traction substation.(4) Research of reliability allocation method. Given main factors in reliability allocation, such as cost, complexity, importance and maintainability, we estimated these factors and subsystems with scores by experts based on triangular fuzzy numbers. We constructed expert weight matrix to evaluate authoritative experts, and used triangular fuzzy number to deal with the influencing factors and subsystems, and constructed credibility matrix to evaluate the credibility of the expert scoring, eventually we obtained membership of subsystems, then got reasonable reliability index of subsystems.
