| In terms of the city of Qingdao, the first impression comes into our minds is the blue sea and the beautiful coastline scenery- the old city with red tiling and green trees and mountains connecting with the sea, and the modern coastal scenic spots with high-rise buildings. However, people have always ignored the riverside area, which has always been named after according to the river nearby. Thus the local people only focused on the planning and construction of coastal scenic spots in a relatively long period, and ignored the development and reconstruction for the riverside area. Now, the city of Qingdao will not only perfect the coastal scenic spots but also strengthen the landscape planning for the riverside area. Therefore, in the background of Big Qingdao, the landscape planning construction for the riverside area has increasingly gained people’s concern.The Licun River is a main river in Qingdao urban district, whose over length is 17 kilometers and catchment area is 52.3 square kilometers, which covers the residential area and industrial area of the northern part of the city. The comprehensive management project of Licun River started in the January of 2009, the formerly dirty, disorderly and bad upstream of Licun River has become a delightful scene with appropriate flood prevention standards, orderly development for both sides and harmonious ecological landscape after two years and a half’s thorough treatment. Afterwards, Licang District has carried out the infrastructure construction, environmental remediation and old village reconstruction projects, which has made the riverside area of the Licun River take a new look. Therefore, the exploration for the successful reconstruction cases of the riverside area of the Licun River is of substantial significance to the landscape planning and development for the Qingdao riverside area.This paper analyzes the situation concerning the Qingdao riparian areas and learn from the success stories of the issues arising countermeasures ultimately draw conclusions Qingdao riparian planning hydrophilic, integrity, diversity. |
