Study On The Problems Of Old Residential Seismic Strengthening

In order to solve the housing problem of city residents, in twentieth Century 70～90 years, the Chinese government invested a large amount of manpower, material and financial resources, built many residential city. To meet the needs of living has improved the living conditions. Today, however, after entering the 21st century, along with the rapid development of Chinese economy and social life of the great progress, the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, life pattern also corresponding occurred great changes, the housing built in the past, has now become obsolete, falling, high energy consumption and great potential safety hazard of the old house.
