On Emotional Design Of Home Lamps

In modern society, development of economy, culture, science and technology greatly enriches material life of people. However, with affluence of materials, people focus more attention on emotional needs of spirit. At the era with diversified product designs, emotional design which places high value on mental and emotional needs of people has been concerned widely. As the lighting instruments of daily life, home lamps need to meet mental and emotional needs of users. With home lamps as the carrier for specific import of emotional design, with division of period as longitudinal axis, functions, forms, design thoughts and technology of home lamps as horizontal axis, this paper deeply analyzed design features of home lamps at each stage and summarized important influence and meaning of emotional design to home lamps. Emotional design of home lamps promotes communication and exchange of people with lamps and makes visible materials carry invisible spirit to shape better emotional experience for users.
