The highway from Xifeng to Qianxi is considered one important part of the "three horizontal" highways, which consisting of the "678" highway network in Guizhou Province. While Liuguang River Bridge is a vital part of Xifeng-Qianxi Highway due to its large span, high construction technology requirements and huge construction difficulty. The bridge engineering possesses various uncertainty factors as well as high construction risk, which will cause immeasurable loss if the failure of construction occurs. Building risk management system, pinpointing risk factors, and preparing corresponding solutions in the process of construction are particularly important. In this thesis, by adopting both of the expert investigation method and field survey method, risk factors in the construction process of Liuguang River Bridge will be defined following the construction sequence and then an integration process. After that, fuzzy analytical hierarchy process will be used to define the weight of those risk factors in the construction process. The target layer of the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process concerns the construction risk of the above mentioned bridge, and the middle layer is mainly consist of risks from the following six aspects, respectively the construction of pile foundation, pile caps, pillar, beam, girder and stayed-cable. Then expert questionnaire method is adopted to determine the occurrence probability as well as the weight of possible losses of the risk factors in the index layer, which are then used to determine the risk degree of each construction sequence and establish the risk probability model and risk cost model. Based on this risk assessment matrix, degrees of risk probability and risk losses will be calculated to determine the risk level in the construction process of the Liuguang River Bridge. The last but not least, corresponding solutions for these risk factors are put forward to ensure the smooth construction of the bridge. In this thesis, the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process is applied in the process of risk management of a long-span cable-stayed bridge construction, and risk factors together with countermeasures in the construction process are put forward. Based on practical engineering cases, this whole thesis has a certain practical significance and could provide reference for counterparts.
