Two-phase flow exists widely in the process industry. When fluid flows through throttling element of the control valve, the two-phase flow of gas liquid patterns may appear in the valve body. As a consequence, conductive and flowing parameters will change rapidly and thus the equipment performance will be affected. Under abominable working conditions, two-phase flow produced inside the valve may also cause erosion and washing damage. The thesis conducted numerical simulations on internal flow field of Y-type control valve of the SY4500 series, and in this study, the impact of a small amount of droplet on the erosion of the drain valve was analyzed. Based on CFD, the erosion of the valve under fully opening was simulated and analyzed, and position of erosion on the valve was verified. At last, according to the damage of erosion on control valve, the structure of the valve was optimized with the throttle sleeve, spool sleeve and labyrinth disc. The results show that when the conditions are the same, Because of the optimized structure, the obvious throttling effect was getted, and the velocity of droplet in valve was significantly reduced, also, the valve erosion damage was reduced effectively. In addition, the erosion damage of the valve of the throttle before valve, spool sleeve valve and labyrinth disc valve mainly occurred in the throttling unit, the sealing surface was protected.
