Research On Rural Public Space Landscape Design In The Westsouth Of Shandong

Traditional rural public space, such as entrances to a village, fairs and squares, waterfront, as the important places for the rural settlement, play an important role in improving the rural environment, maintaining the community’s neighborhood emotion, heritage of geographical and cultural characteristics. However, as the urbanization process continues to advance, rural construction develops rapidly and rural living environment improves, people’s demand for public space is not only limited to the physical space of production and life, but has risen to the spiritual and cultural level. The public space form in the traditional rural settlement cannot meet the material and spiritual needs of the modern rural residents.Through the relevant theoretical analysis of current rural public space and field research in villages in the southwest of Shandong, first, this paper makes the general analysis of the public space in the region, including main types, functions, influence elements and landscape characteristics. At same time, taking the traditional public space of Qianwangzhuang Cun and the square of the Caopo Cun as examples, it analyzes the current condition of public space design under the current background, sums up the existing problems, like serious ecological damage, the lag behind of public facilities, monotonous landscape form and the deficiency in traditional cultural characteristics, etc..Based on the analysis of the above content, this paper proposes the principles that the region’s rural public space landscape design should follow:embodying the humanized space design, the integration principle in protection and sustainability, the integration in spatial function and landscape and the coordination symbiosis principle, and studies and analyzes the components of village public space landscape design.Finally, the paper takes the public space landscape design of Hanxi Cun, Yuncheng County as an example, combining the current situation of the base, starting from the relationship between the residents and the environment, adopts the humanized design to have the overall design of the scheme, with the concept of ecological sustainable design, respecting and inheriting the excellent local cultural tradition.
