Study On Skywalk Landscape Design Forwetland Park

Wetland exists all over the world, which is known as the kidney of the earth. It possesses the strong ability in ecological purification, and can adjust the climates, conserve water resources, and provide appropriate carriers for biodiversity. However, the improper development and excessive transformation by human to wetland and the unreasonable design by designers have made the wetland ecological environment increasingly more vulnerable. In China, people’s awareness of wetland protection has been enhanced, but the study of wetland development and protection is still in its infancy. The studies in the past were mostly concentrated in the macroscopic perspectives such as spatial structure, plant landscape, and recreation routes, while skywalk has not been studied yet. Skywalk has been very widely applied to wetland parks, and can reduce the destruction to wetland ecological environment and provide experiencerswitha new perspective to getinvolved in the wetland environment.Seen from the current situation of the wetland landscape of the Yellow River delta, protecting and repairing the wetland is necessarily regarded as the primary task. According to the skywalk system in the wetland park,the following four issues are supposed to be solved:(1) the range of the skywalk sightseeing visibility to people in the wetland park; (2) the relationship between the people walking on skywalk and the surrounding plant landscapes; (3) the diversity of skywalk landscape forms in the wetland park; (4) the design forthe skywalk security in the wetland park.
