Construction industry is one of the pillar industries of national economic construction. In recent years, with the expansion of the scale of investment in the country, construction projects are increasingly moving in the direction of large, complex and diverse, and the competition among construction enterprises is becoming more and more fierce. Engineering material is the main part of the cost of the project, and the cost of material is 60%-70%, which is the key of project cost and quality. Therefore, construction enterprises should be in an invincible position in the competition, which needs to reduce the cost of construction materials. Therefore, the construction site material management work has become the key to the success or failure of the project.Currently existing in the course of project construction site materials management confusion, the most difficult points, the phenomenon such as low efficiency of management. Especially valuable materials reinforced management, through investigation found that steel cutting in construction field, after purchase, no recycle excess stock on site, and each link of the order material is conducted later in the manual entry, so the cost of material and can assure the quality of the project. Research based on the theory of business process engineering projects, supplies the existing business process combing, develop requirements traceability management, using the Internet of things technology, design the project materials traceability business processes, so as to realize the material traceability, to ensure the engineering quality, and accelerate the capital turnover, and reduce the engineering cost and improve the efficiency of the enterprise.The main research work of this paper is as follows:(1) Project materials traceability business process is designed. Through on-the-spot investigation, tease out project supplies the existing business process, in combination with the traceability management requirements, the use of the Internet of things technology, as a carrier for information acquisition by qr code technology to design the traceability data storage model and material coding scheme to achieve the purpose of materials information back, and designed the business process for materials traceability requirements.(2) Using the Petri nets technology in engineering project process modeling analysis of material before and after optimization. Using Petri nets technology to comb good building supplies business process model, and to construct a model of security, stability, boundedness and accessibility is verified, and verify the design of the project in terms of qualitative material traceability to validate the correctness and feasibility of the business process. At the same time, before and after optimization model is established for comparative analysis of the process cycle time to verify the design of the project from the quantitative material traceability effectiveness of business processes.(3) Using ExSpect simulation software simulation analysis was carried out baseing on the Petri net model. Time parameter of selection process as the simulation parameters on project material existing business processes and traceability process simulation. Design has been proved by the simulation results for many times, the project material traceability on the efficiency of business processes.
