With the rapid development of the national economy, people’s demand for electricity continues to increase. Safety and reliable operation of power transmission have become the primary issue of national concern. Power line inspection is important technical method to Improving operational efficiency and guaranteeing transmission line reliability and security. Due to lack of technical and management, the traditional inspection methods can not timely and accurate feedback line status information, can not guarantee stable operation of electrical equipment.In this dissertarion,the various electrical inspection methods were analyzed and compared deeply. The use of GPS, GIS, embedded, computer databases and wireless communications technology research and development center management system and power grid inspection PDA devices.Equipment is mainly used for receiving inspection tasks, navigation route of inspection, inspection personnel real-time positioning, f ield data collection, inspection results of storage or return, etc. Power Center management system uses C # development based on B / S structure management platform, Oracle 11 g as a system database. By receiving and processing data from the PDA mobile terminals, to achieve the overall management of the power grid and inspection personnel scheduling. Inspection PDA is chosen based on ARM11 kernel S3C6410A(Samsung company) as a main control unit of microprocessor. And related peripheral hardware circuit design, including storage module GPRS module and GPS module, etc. PDA devices uses C # development PDA end electrical inspection application software, using Windows CE as the operating system of the PDA device, using SQL CE as the system database. The system combines Saga-Husa adaptive filter and strong tracking kalman filtering algorithm. Based on judge convergence, an improved adaptive filtering algorithm is constructed to improve GPS positioning precision of the PDA. System realize accurate positioning and navigation of inspection.In this dissertarion, the electrical inspection system, effectively overcome error detection, missed and Patrol inefficiencies of traditional power inspection way, making power inspection process more efficiency, and automation.
