Urban underground pipe network is essential to urban infrastructure. Pipe network includes water, electricity, natural gas, heating, drainage, and communication. Quantity of such network rocketed due to the rapid urban development, yet its quality failed to keep pace. These “vessels” ensure a smooth flow and vitality of a city. Integrated pipe network centralizes and upgrades these vessels, making the flow faster, safer and the entire system economical. Integrated pipe network will be cost efficient by avoiding repeated social investment and will thus increase the total amount of social wealth.This paper takes the core start-up area of Qingdao High-Tech Zone as an analysis example and discusses the implementation of integrated pipe network in decision-making, design, construction and operation stages from a management point of view and raises up personal understanding and conclusion. Nowadays, with the vigorous promotion of integrated pipe network at the state level, it is hoped that this paper shall attract more valuable thoughts and ideas and shall render reference in the analysis and study of integrated pipe network in Sino-German Ecopark.
