| Children’s safety is always a hot issue in society. Compared with adults, children are weak in physical and mental, they need the protection and emotional care of adult to grow healthy.Wearable devices have rapid development in recent years due to their portable, real-time, as well as internet characteristics and advantages. Wearable devices have been used in the field of child safety protection. But the existing wearable security products of children are lack of consideration of children’s physiological and psychological factors, and they cannot meet children’s security requirements fully.Therefore, first, this study will introduce and analyze the children safety products, especially the advantages and disadvantages of the existing wearable children safety products. Second, this study will be based on the current status of children in China, and focus on the relevant factors of the acquisition of children’s sense of security. And then, there will be a questionnaire survey to further study the product’s needs and preferences of children. Next, the design elements and design principles of children’s safety product will be summed according to the three levels of emotional design by Donald A. Norman. Finally, according to the analysis above, a child near field safety monitoring product will be designed.The using of wearable devices in children’s security will play the advantages of close to the human body of wearable devices. The wearable devices are able to monitor the children’s physical and mental activity, convenient for parents to get the information of the children’s safety. The research will further explore the development prospect and the direction of wearable devices in the field of children’s security. It will also play an active role for children’s physical and mental health as well as for many young families of happy life and the stability of the society. |
