· As economy is highly developing, human’s consumption and demand of energy resources is becoming more and more large; At the same time using energy resources, people bring the earth more and more serious environmental problems, such as:green house effect, air pollution, destruction of the ozone layer and so on. So that we should do some study things about energy saving is imperative. But now that central air-conditioning is being used widely, its energy resources consumption is very large, so that we do energy saving study about central air-conditioning is signality and profound.· Cooling tower is one of the links in the circulating cooling water system, the paper regard it as the chance, to do transformation to the cooling tower of the circulating cooling water system and develop a new mini-hydraulic turbine which’s structure is sample and which is efficient to run,for which is replacement for the electromotor that is high energy consumption. This paper,by using CFD software, establishes three-dimensional model about the mini-hydraulic turbine, including flow passage components, such as:stay vane, runner and so on, does mesh generation to the model, defines the the boundary conditions, and does numerical simulation to the model by using Fluent, to get the cloud picture about the model’s flow field’s pressure and velocity.By analyzing the cloud picture,we can prove that the model is high efficient. So that developing this model is feasible and has great engineering extension significance· As a result, developing this model is valuable, and it can be a reference to develop another new mini-hydraulic turbine of the cooling tower.
