Nowadays, there are many transformer substation using old-fashioned relay protection equipment, whose property, stability can’t adapt the demand of the power grid, and its stock is very short-handed, which make the repair very difficult. The 110kV and 35kV power equipment is in the outside, which increase the area of the transformer substation, and need maintain frequently.which cost a lot of manpower and material resources. The monitoring system uses RTU The remote signal, remote control, remote regulation and remote telemetering are transmited to the power dispatching center by RTU, This mode makes the cable and line very complex. When the signal is wrong,it’s very difficult to remedy of the trouble, and this go against with the stable operation of the power grid.This paper has conducted the thorough research to the integrated automation system, direct current system and other applications used for the transform subustation, on the premise of the current situation of the 110kV Nan Ye transform subustation, and make a bat around to the designing scheme of the microcomputer protection. First of all, this paper propsoses the designing scheme of the secondary system according to the actual conditions on site. Then it makes the construction scheme and the measures to ensure the efficiency of the project. At last, it developments the setting program and the debug solutions of the microcomputer protection for 110kV NanYe transform subustation. This retrofit work for Nan Ye transform subustation is successful, and improves the stability and reliability of operation from the data.This paper makes a deep research and discuss to the conventional reconstruction of NanYe transform substation, and improves the property of integrated automation system, direct current system and other applications used for the transform subustation, which provides a good thought to the modification works of secondary system.
