Investigation And Analysis Of Zhaoqing Greenway

In order to analyze, explore and expand the function of the greenway, and research its promotion on the local ecological environment, economic development, cultural development and Enhance of the citizen’s physical fitness, the previous theoretical exploration of the greenway was analysed, development and the evolution of the greenway and the recent planning and construction practices of the greenway in China by the literature review and field research. Through the specific study of the Zhaoqing greenways, the landscape features and the planning and construction applications status of the Zhaoqing greenway were analysed. The economic benefits of the Zhaoqing greenways were assessed through analysis of the 10 years of travel statistical data of Zhaoqing. The social benefits of the Zhaoqing greenways were investigated and evaluated through using the theory of customer satisfaction. The main results were as follows:1. The Pearl River Delta Greenway was the largest regional greenway network system in China currently. The Zhaoqing greenway, with its beautiful natural landscapes, rich historical and cultural resources, diverse eco-tourism area and the improved supporting service, combined the ecological environment construction and livable urban and rural construction, communicated the scenic line and the cityscape line, and created a greenway landscape with oriental features. The Zhaoqing greenway construction also integrated the tourism resources along the greenway area, and promoted the tourism development and the economic development along the greenway area of Zhaoqing City. The greenway was not only a new bright spot in Zhaoqing tourism, but also a good place to people strong body fitness and a model for the construction of the greenway in China.2. The greenway enhanced the value of tourism resources, enriched the travel form and formed a complete network system through connecting the dispersed tourism resources effectively. The Zhaoqing tourism revenue grew steadily by greenways driving.3. Satisfaction surveys showed that the public were satisfied with the Zhaoqing greenway air quality, the landscape, the public security and the order and greenways line arrangement. The greenway had been integrated into people’s daily life and recognized by the public. Public satisfaction with the plan details of greenways and facilities construction was not high.4. Satisfaction surveys still showed that the public were satisfied with all items of importance investigation.Integrated importance and satisfaction survey results, the public were more satisfied with high level hardware greenway facilities construction of Zhaoqing, but the software construction such as service aspect was not a great satisfaction to the public. The service facilities and other facilities need to be improved.
