PHC pipe piles(PHC pile), as a relatively new form of pile foundation, pile having high strength, high pile capacity, short construction period and a series of excellent quality and stability characteristics. However, PHC pile vertical bearing character, especially to determine the vertical bearing capacity of the research is still not deep enough, lack of theoretical foundation pile design support and can not reasonably determine the ultimate bearing capacity of single pile is still an urgent problem.By reference to relevant literature, research status of close-end PHC pile and load transfer basic theory is described in detail. Applications FLAC3 D homogeneous soils under different conditions Close-end PHC Piles Vertical bearing traits simulated, analyzed and summarized the close-end PHC piles under different circumstances pile load transfer characteristics. Applications FLAC3 D complex close-end PHC pile foundation static load test were simulated, comparative analysis of the results by the simulation results with measured results and standardized test load formula, empirical formula stated specification when no reasonable argument can not be directly modified for determining the close-end pile of single pile ultimate bearing capacity; can be effectively verified FLAC3 D close-end PHC pile used to determine the ultimate bearing capacity of single pile, can provide useful reference for the design and construction.
