With the development of modern cities, the urban population is increasing, while the urban land is limited, which makes the development of high-rise buildings become necessary. The rapid development and use of high-rise buildings calling for the further develop of elevator toward high-speed, ultra high-speed direction. But the faster the speed of the elevator, the elevator vibration will increase and the security problems also will be more prominent. Therefore, the research on the vibration characteristics of the elevator and safety components work condition is of great significance for high-speed elevators’ development.Based on the key techniques of elevator safety components testing tower, from the definition and classification of the elevator, gradually introduces the basic structure and working principle of the elevator, which describes in detail the elevator mechanical systems and security systems, and introduced herein several security components, such as the governor, safety gear and the buffer’s structure and working principle. For vibration problem of tractive elevator in the vertical direction, the capsule’s upward dynamics model is established according to the test, and simplify the system as the quality--spring--damping model based on the actual situation, then using the Lagrange principle and concluded the dynamics equations of the test capsules in the upstream process. By using numerical calculation method and matlab simulation, conclud the velocity and acceleration curve, and theoretical analysis on the simulation curve.For safety clamp is an important part of capsules downward overspeed protection device, so in this paper the safety gear downstream safety clamp experiments were modeled. This model is mainly based on Newton’s second law, analysed the force of the test car in a state of free-fall conditions, and in accordance with the relevant standards, analysed the stopping force and the stopping distance. Through comparing theoretical calculations with actual test data, confirmed the validity and reasonableness of the experiment. Visual expression the downward state through graphical the test data of capsules, put forward constructive suggestions of the deficiencies, also play a guidance role in the use and choose of safety gear.Finally based on the mathematical model of the car and hydraulic buffers, this paper established equilibrium equations of the car downside cushion process, gave numerical solution of the equations and obtained simulated response curves,acceleration and speed changes of the car were analyzed, and the test results were compared to verify the correctness and rationality of the test model.
