With high speed development of electric construction in china, more and more electricalequipment manufacture and design institute become integrated into the global market, joinedinto international power engineering service. The design of gas turbine foundation is the mostimportant one and paid more attention over whole engineering sercive process. Right now,how to bring Chinese standards more line with international standards, combined China’sspecification and design experience for gas turbine foundation, problems that need urgentsolution are still exist. Therefore, this paper studies the static and dynamic performance ofgas turbine foudantion for a foreign power plant, under finit element model. It has someengineering application value.The certain Pakistan project is a gas-steam combined cycle power plant, there is3PG9171(E) type gas turbine, the configuration is3:1. The rat capacity of gas turbine is95.4MW per unit, and138.9MW for steam turbine. The total capacity is425.1MW for thispower plant. The9E type gas turbine which is from GE france, is adopted for this power plant,the rate speed is3000rpm. For this project, the foundation treatment is cast-in-place pile, toensure the coactions of gas turbine foundation,pile and soil, to ensure good operation of gasturbine, in the case of non-Physical model testing, essential Mathematical model analysis isnecessary. At the same time, this mathematical model will do the support of feasibility designproposal, provide the solid data support and provide the necessary guarantee for saftyperformance.This article is from the point of Mathematical model,using Finite element method,mainly discussed gas turbine foundation analysis content and the standards and ways adoptedhere. Including static and dynamic analysis for G-T foundation. Basis of free vibration andforced vibration (Harmonic response) analysis, to check the requirement of manufacture is satisfied or not. At the same time, perform the static analyse using different load combination.Basis of dynamic behavior, like vibration vehavior, dynamic stiffiness of foundation, forcedvibration (Harmonic response) analysis and so on, we can get the final conclusion.
