Based on the related problems of automobile engine oil pan stamping process and tooling mold design in the actual production, with the rapid development of computing technology and plastic forming numerical simulation software CAE technology popularization and application, breakthrough the tradition in the work, actively explored the 3D design software in the application of stamping process and mold design and the application of CAE simulation analysis software, studied the stamping drawing process optimization and tooling design optimization process, provided theoretical support for the optimization and upgrading of stamping process design. The oil pan is the lower part of the crankcase, also known as the lower crankcase. As an important part of the diesel engine, in addition to play a role in cooling the engine oil, the main role is lubricating oil storing and sealing the whole body, and collecting and storing the oil flowing back from the friction surface, preventing the oxidation of the lubricating oil. Compared with general stamping parts, oil pan is characterized by thin material, complex shape, large size and high surface quality requirement, large hardness strength requirement, etc. Require more working procedure to complete. Drawing forming is the most important and most difficult step in the whole process. Mold and process of drawing forming decides the success or failure of drawing and work piece quality. For the complex drawing parts, it is difficult to estimate in advance single by experience, the mold accuracy is difficult to guarantee, and found the problem until the mold testing, so that the production cycle lengthened, reducing efficiency. The forming process simulation technology can find the problem as soon as possible, improve the mold design and optimization of stamping process. Stamping Xpert stamping expert system software is a kind of fast finite element analysis software based on improved inverse algorithm and dynamic display method, the finite element method was used to simulate the whole process of metal stamping, plays a leading role in the entire product, process development design and mold development process. It can greatly shorten the mold debugging cycle, reduce the cost of mold. In this paper using Pro/E 3D modeling for three-dimensional parts structure design, Stamping Xpert expert system software was used for the finite element analysis of drawing forming process of oil pan, to determine the reasonable drawing forming process, this paper expounds the determination of key process parameters in the design process, such as blank holder force, drawbead, the shape and size of the blank and other functions, usage, etc. Provide the effective support to shorten the mold design and manufacturing cycle, and improve the quality of drawing forming rate. |
